If any of you have been following my blog about P90X and if you’ve been looking at the many before and after pictures on the web, you should take a look at the great reviews that people have written about P90X; just Google search: P90X Reviews Amazon.
When you get to Amazon.com scroll down the page and find where they have the “reviews” and click on the link. What I really liked about the P90X reviews on Amazon was that the people reviewing P90X were real people who have used the P90X workout system. I also like that you can sort the reviews by how many stars they gave the product.

When I research a product I often read more of the negative reviews because it seems that most of the positive reviews are all the same. Most of them seem to be over-exaggerated and full of hype, not help or useful information. After I’ve looked at several negative reviews I feel like I have a better understanding of what I might face or deal with if I decide to get the product.
Now, of course, there are the uber negative reviews that don’t offer any helpful information either. That’s why I try to read as much as I can from both the positive and negative side of the reviews. Especially with the P90X reviews; from the myriad of P90X reviews I was able to understand a lot more about people’s experiences using the P90X workout system and I better understood what I was getting myself into.
The “before and after” pictures were by far the most convincing evidence of how effective P90X can be if you do the program correctly. I also thoroughly enjoyed reading the amazing P90X women success stories. Those two modes of research and information combined with the Amazon.com reviews about P90X gave me a full and complete understanding of what I have to gain and be cautious of when I begin using the P90X DVD’s.
A few of you have emailed me about where I purchased my P90X DVD’s. I actually got my DVD’s and additional workout equipment from Beach Body who is the official distributor of P90X. I decided to go directly to the official source for a few reasons.
One, I don’t have any workout equipment to begin with, and when I got the DVD’s from Beach Body they gave me a fantastic deal on the additional equipment (pull-up bar, power bands, drink mix, etc). Two, when it comes to my body and health I don’t want to put them to chance by buying a used set of DVD’s that may or may not work. Three, I want to be a part of the P90X community and I wanted to be able to chat online with other members and have full access to everything that P90X and Beach Body have to offer.
I didn’t want to short change myself out of anything that P90X/Beach Body have to offer. I don’t have a workout partner so having the online community will be a big help and motivator for me. I feel that if I’m accountable to someone or if I’m setting goals with someone then it will help me actually follow through and achieve those goals.
I don’t have one bad thing to say about shopping on Amazon.com. I shop there often for books and other random things I need. But I would personally recommend going directly to the “source” to get your P90X DVD’s and/or other workout supplies. That’s just my personal opinion. I’m sure you’ll develop your own opinion about what will best help you after you’ve reviewed the “before and after” pictures, read the P90X success stories, and gone through the P90X Reviews Amazon.
